Product Overview

The HLK-3700 series hand controllers are designed to pair with the 2000msw-rated HLK-3800 series subsea pods, providing a reliable serial communications link between the topside hand controller and Hydro-Lek valve packs, as well as the HLK-91000 series compact HPUs.

The HLK-3800 subsea pods convert serial communications to 24VDC digital switching for valve coils and enable HPUs to operate in either a switched or on-demand mode.

These pods can be configured with a variety of bulkhead options to meet customer preferences and support a wide range of voltage inputs, including 24VDC, 48VDC, 200–375VDC, and 110–240VAC. The standard communications protocol is RS232, with Twisted Pair (TP) available as an optional alternative.

Hand controllers can be equipped with up to six joysticks as standard, with the faceplate clearly labelled to indicate manipulator function inputs. Additional features include extra switching capabilities for compact HPUs and spare tooling requirements.
