eM1-7 electric manipulator demo at Oceanology International 24
This marks the first public demonstration of the Seaeye eM1-7, showcasing Saab's commitment to innovation and advancing the capabilities of underwater robotic systems.
The event, scheduled for 12th to 14th March 2024 at the ExCel in London, will feature live demonstrations of the eManip in action, highlighting its cutting-edge capabilities in the field of underwater exploration, research, and intervention. The eM1-7 is an advanced robotic manipulator arm designed to operate in challenging underwater environments, offering unparalleled precision and versatility.
The eM1-7, designed with innovative features, revolutionises electric manipulators. With compact modular electric joints, it achieves lifting capacities from 122 kg at 2m to 454 kg at minimum extension. Crafted from durable, lightweight aluminum, it weighs 116 kg in air and 84 kg underwater. Operating up to 4,000 meters, it offers optional reach to 7,000 meters.
Attendees at Oceanology International will have the opportunity to witness live demonstrations of the Manipulator at Stand K100, and engage with Saab UK experts to learn more about its applications and benefits.
